We would like to share with you the fate of a little girl who suffered too many losses during her early life. Dinh Thi Trang is a ten-year-old girl. She was born into a very poor farming family in a mountainous area of Quang Binh Province. Her life has witnessed a lot of unhappiness, desperation, difficulties and even separation.

When Trang was only at the age of 8, her mother passed away because of a severe flood that made her drown on the way of coming back home from her farm. Trang used to believe that that day was the greatest misfortune in her life.

This led to the fact that a succession of Trang’s family was broken because her father could not feed his children.

As a result, two her brothers, Hieu and Huyen had to live with their paternal family, whereas, Hoa and Trang live with maternal family.

Although loving the children so much, Trang’s father must be away from home in order to work as hired labor at stone mine in Binh Thuan province which is far from his homeland over 1,000 km. This work is very heavy, every day he must break big rocks into quarry stone for construction. However, his income is very low and unstable; he earns 30,000 VND per day on average. About 3 months he can accumulate small money and send to his children at home.

Living with her maternal family, Trang always misses her parents and feels deprived of their care and love. Due to their poor economic condition, nobody in Trang’s family paid any attention to her serious heart disease. Three years ago, Trang got high fever and was taken to Hue Central Hospital, Doctors diagnosed that she suffered from serious heart disease called Mitral Regurgitation and needed an operation as soon as possible with surgery cost ,438 USD (55,000,000 VND) which was absolutely beyond their real condition. At that time, Trang thought that she was born under an unlucky star and that her life would end soon.

Her father could not quit his job to come back home and take care of his pitiful daughter since he had to earn as much money as possible to help Trang have surgery.

Consequently, Trang’s elder brother must be off school for a long time for taking care of her during the hospitalization for treatment.

Fortunately, wanting to share deep sympathy with this needy family and above all, to save the poor little girl, benefactors made a decision to help this miserable family with the surgery cost. At present, Trang gradually recovers her strength. She can smile happily as her life is no longer threatened by the heart disease.
