On 28 and 29 April, 2014, the physical therapy team cooperated with early intervention team to screen children with disabilities as well as train for their parents in Nam Dong district. Through the training, we provided them information related to cerebral palsy, a number of appropriate method of therapies and the role of families in supporting children at home. With such knowledge, we hope the parents can understand and know how to take care of children with disabilities at home.

As usual, on the last months of 2013, physical therapy group have conducted examination period for children in program in order to evaluate their progress during a year as well as set up some new therapy goals which suit children in 2014. We have checked again supporting equipments and tools for children at home and at centers to transfer, take back or buy more some new tools that suit their ability. Beside, the group also cooperated to special wheelchair program in order to survey and choose wheelchair which meet need of each child.

After two years of collaboration on training paediatric physical therapy programs between Rotary Club of Prospect organizations (Australia) and the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, from the day 20th May come on 31th May, the Australian experts in coordinate with the Department to organize the final course. With the enthusiastic support of the experts in recent years, the teaching cadres of the Department can be responsible for teaching this curriculum in next time. The total support of 65,000 AUD for travel expenses for trainers from Australia is funded by DREAMIN Foundation Inc.
