The training courses “Utilizing the Montessori method in inclusive education school” |

With the goal is introduction a Child-center education method - the Montessori method with Free Work to the managers and teachers of Kindergarten and Primary school whom perform in inclusive education mission to chidren with disabilities. OGCDC have cooperated with World Vision (USA) in Vietnam organized the training course on “Utilizing the Montessori method - Free Work in inclusive education at kindergarten and primary school” in Vinh Linh and Trieu Phong District, Quang Tri Province from 05 to 08/07/2010 and Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province from 19 to 22/07/2010. Through training courses, trainees have knowledge about the general argument basic on Development Psychology and Learning Theory, specially understanding the decisive principle in Montessori Method. Trainees find out a the areas of education of Montessori and the way to introduce and make specialized equipments to support for all children and disabled children. Trainees also have oppotinities to set up the problem as strengthen and modify some current condition in order to applying the Free Work in inclusive education. Specially, children with disabilities can promote their ability, build self-made, self-educated, discover by themselves, and acquire good habits to create a solid base to include in social easily.

Bicycles for lepeurs at Leprosy Village - Quy Nhon with the support of AFEPS Association (France) |

In the last days of July, 2010, in our visit to Quy Hoa National Leprosy Dermatology Hospital – Quy Nhon, we represented AFEPS (France) to present 20 bicycles for lepeurs who are living at the leprosy village of Quy Hoa. This is a very meaningful gift to help them reduce their difficulties in traveling and everyday life.
On behalf of the lepeurs, we would like to thank AFEPS, the people who have always shared and cared for the troubles of the unlucky so that they could have happiness in their unfortunate lives.

From 29 to 31 July 2010, the delegate from OGCDC has visited and given gifts for lepeurs at the leprosy village of Quy Hoa, Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh. There, we gave out 10 special wheelchairs sponsored by IMAYA (Japan) for lepeurs who are poor. We hope that with this useful gift, the unlucky patients will have more ease in traveling and be relieved of some burden in their lives.
Through this, we would like to express our gratitude to IMAYA for caring for and sharing with the unfortunate ones, especially lepeurs.
